Ron Ping (Catering Section - Chef) did 2 tours at Saxa
between 1967 and 1971. Amongst other things he played the drums in the station
band for some of his time and he was also a keen soccer player. All of the
pictures below, apart from the last 2 came from his collection – the final
photo of the football team was previously published in the section “Soccer at
Saxa”. If anyone can help with the missing names it would be appreciated. (Left click on pictures or zoom to enlarge).
